This week, Lee's featuring Dom's Barbecue, who served up al pastor ribs last time! Get a flash tatt from Ink & Blade Tattoo, or some new gear from Poor Vida clothing. We're going to have some complimentary sips and insane deals on agave spirits that are coming off the menu - somebody's gotta drink 'em! Free event - so swing thru.

Let's party on the patio with DJ's Caramelo & Son Sebas. Celebrate Latin culture, music, and food, during this good-vibes-only afternoon at BARCOA. Drink specials from LOLEA Sangria, Carajillos on special, and Mexican sparkling wine, along with great food from Provecho taco truck, make this monthly event one helluva good time.

HOW IT WORKS:

We stock a table full of gift-wrapped, full-size bottles of mezcal. Each will be small batch, handmade, maybe a pechuga or two, super exclusive, bomb diggity, F-ing delicious. The retail value of all bottles in the exchange land between $85 and $130. In other words you are getting a unique bottle of mezcal at a great price!

Upon arrival, you are served a delicious welcome cocktail. That cocktail has a number on the bottom of it.

At about 4:20-ish, we get started.

Number 1 goes first. That person picks a bottle from a table of wrapped mezcal bottles. They unwrap the bottle and everyone hears why that heritage agave spirit is significant - stories of the maestro/maestra, varietal and production details, and other interesting educational points. We're here to drink, but we're also here to learn!

Number 2 can then steal that bottle or pick from the pile. If you're stolen from, you pick another bottle from the table, open it, and we hear about that newly opened bottle. Rinse and repeat this until all bottles are gone from the table and everyone has a new bottle for their home bar collection!

By the end, everyone has a bottle of small batch, artisanal mezcal! Sample tastes of select mezcals will be poured during the event. Each ticket also includes a raffle ticket to win some sweet swag.

The gift exchange should wrap about 5:30pm.
