Thanksgiving Eve at BARCOA is basically a holiday in itself. Kick off the long weekend the right way—swing through for one of our best nights of the year. We’ve got a DJ on the patio, drink specials flowing, Provecho slinging chicken taquitos, and a few surprises we’re keeping tucked under the napkin. 

Join us for an afternoon of drinks, dancing, comida, & the best Sunday Funday vibes with DJs Caramelo, Camilo, & Yorman. There will be cocktail specials and probably a conga line, so get ready! 

HOW IT WORKS:

We stock a table full of gift-wrapped, full-size bottles of mezcal. Each will be small batch, handmade, super exclusive, bomb diggity mezcal. The retail value of all bottles in the exchange land between $85 and $130. In other words you are getting a unique bottle of mezcal at a great price!

Upon arrival, you are served a delicious welcome cocktail. That cocktail has a number on the bottom of it.

At about 4:20-ish, we get started.

Number 1 goes first. That person picks a bottle from a table of wrapped mezcal bottles. They unwrap the bottle and everyone hears why that heritage agave spirit is significant - stories of the maestro/maestra, varietal and production details, and other interesting educational points. We're here to drink, but we're also here to learn!

Number 2 can then steal that bottle or pick from the pile. If you're stolen from, you pick another bottle from the table, open it, and we hear about that newly opened bottle. Rinse and repeat this until all bottles are gone from the table and everyone has a new bottle for their home bar collection!

By the end, everyone has a bottle of small batch, artisanal mezcal! Sample tastes of select mezcals will be poured during the event. Each ticket also includes a raffle ticket to win some sweet swag.

The gift exchange should wrap about 5:30pm.
